Cloud Computing Essentials to Think About for your Team
Cloud computing training is essential for your team. Don't
be scared to offer employees additional responsibilities. Moving to the cloud
in a meaningful sense necessitates a cultural as well as a technological
transformation. Giving individuals the opportunity to take on new
responsibilities has helped me overcome my reluctance to change. My inclination
has always been to search within the organization first, as institutional
knowledge is an expensive and often unneeded loss. During my 11-year stint at Bloomberg,

Most individuals learn a lot from other people's achievements and misfortunes.
For more than five years, I've been designing cloud-enabled technology plans
for major corporations. I'm continually surprised by what I learn at AWS re:
Invent, AWS summits, and other technology events. Allow your employees time to
network and bring fresh ideas back to the office. Considering numerous options,
even those you are confident you will not follow, is an excellent approach to
provide instructive moments and reinforce your plan.
Take notes from your
colleagues. The AWS
Partner Network includes tens of thousands of companies. Many of them are
undoubtedly already in your stable of partners, but there are bound to be some
new ones you can learn from as well. I've been astounded by how many
significant businesses turn to smaller, younger, "born-in-the-cloud"
system integrators such as Cloudreach, 2nd Watch, and Minjar to accelerate
their cloud strategy and transform their IT culture.
Make your unique brand of AWS
certification training official in your organization. As you move through
your Journey, you should notice that a few teams or people within your company
desire to share what they've learned with others. Ideally, this should
originate from your cloud center of excellence. Employees look for
organizations where they share the cloud best practices, frameworks, and
governance models they had built with the rest of the business.
